Käfer Peru International is a longtime dream of Carlos Collantes, whose father raised him to appreciate the history of Peru with an honest commitment to his native land. For over fifteen years, Carlos´ family lived in Puno, Arequipa, Cuzco, and in the Peruvian rainforest. Carlos has been in 18 regions out of the 24 and has experience in hiking, camping, and guiding tourists in the South of Peru. In addition, Carlos lived in Sydney, Australia for an academic year and in the United States for 15 years, having also traveled to more than 20 countries for both business and pleasure. Carlos currently resides in Pamplona, Navarra, Spain.

Kafer Viajes y Turismo EIRL has more than thirty years of experience offering tourism services. Mary Muñoz runs this company, a valencian entrepreneur who arrived in Peru in the seventies and decided to stay with her husband and promote the south of Peru. Carlos and Mary met in 1993. Mary Munoz also takes part in local institutions such as The Chamber of Commerce and is a highly regarded woman among the industry in the south of Peru.
